MULBERRY PICKING

Pick your own Mulberries are ready around the beginning of July.  These sweet tasty berries grow on medium size trees so no need to bend over and no need for ladders!  A tasty treat all on their own or great in a variety of deserts, jams and jellies.

Mulberry Picking Tips!

- A ripe mulberry will come off the tree easily into your hand with just a slight nudge.  If you have to pull the berry it is not quite ripe yet!

- We offer Black, White and Lavender mulberries.  Black mulberries are sweet and tangy while White and Lavender Mulberries are sweet without the tangy notes.

- Black Mulberries do leave purple stains where they touch.  Choose your outfit accordingly!

- Carefully place - don't throw - the fruit into your containers. Mulberries are a delicate fruit and can bruise.

- Use your Mulberries within a day or two of picking or freeze them for later use.

- The Mulberry patch can be hot, please pack water, hats, and sunscreen.
